Your beautiful wool, cashmere or alpaca sweater or knitted afghan has been damaged! Don’t panic. It may look impossible, but most rips, runs and holes can be repaired.I do invisible mending (looks like knitting) and darning (looks like weaving), done with mending thread from my extensive collection for a great color match. If you are unable to finish a project, or have inherited a loved one's unfinished knitting, I can help. Can you find the mend in the photo at the top of this website?

[email protected]Email me with any questions.Send me photos. I will send you a rough estimate of cost. If it's agreeable, we can arrange an appointment. Together, we will look at the damage, and I will give you a better idea of the final cost. I will always contact you if more repair is needed. Before your item comes in for repair, it must be clean and free of any moth eggs or remains. I prefer that you do my easy home treatment for the insect remains and hand wash your item. Washing leaves woolens soft and clean, whereas dry cleaning can leave unhealthy chemical residues that I will have to handle. I can provide you with moth treatment (done in your home oven) and washing instructions. Having a clean item is essential so that I can do a good color match on your mend. Dirt dulls the colors.
